For the Love of Swiffer

If you love your Swiffer but hate the expense, consider this: microfiber cloths. You can get an 8-pack of these beauties for $5 in the automotive section at Wal-Mart. Depending upon the appliance, you can attach the cloth with rubber bands, clips, or just push it in the holes of the Swiffer. Here's what I do:

Now I want to warn you: if you have a long-haired pet, you will have to shake out the cloth before washing. This may be too much for some of you, but I have a large enough collection of these so I only have to shake every few weeks (I put the dirty ones in a bag hanging in our laundry closet).

If this doesn't appeal to you at all, please at least use both sides of your disposable swiffer cloths.
